CAD EQUIPMENT DESIGN

The Council in collaboration with a team of engineers from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, University of Lagos and Federal University of Technology, Owerri developed software for the design of process equipment. The team has successfully design soft wares for mixers, dryers, heat exchangers and cyclones (air and hydro) and has so far achieved the following:

1. a) Evaluated key design equations and methodologies


2. b) Developed the software suite


3. c) Validated the software using theoretical problems with known solutions


4. d) Produced Monograph on Cyclones


5. e) Produced Technical Reports on cyclones and dryers
