As part of its continuous capacity enhancement initiatives, the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC), through its Laboratory Services Division under the Department of Research and Demonstration Plant Complex (RDPC), successfully organized a two-day Hands-On Practical Training Workshop from April 3–4, 2025.
The workshop was implemented in line with the Ministerial Key Performance Indicator (KPI) on increasing the volume and quality of raw materials and products testing and analysis across the country. It served as the First Quarter High-Impact Project of the Division and was specifically designed to strengthen the technical competence of RMRDC’s laboratory analysts.
The training provided practical exposure to modern analytical testing methods, laboratory quality management, and best practices in sample preparation and data interpretation. Through interactive sessions and demonstrations, participants improved their ability to deliver accurate and reliable analytical results consistent with international standards.
This initiative directly supports the Council’s mandate of enhancing industrial raw materials development through research, testing, and quality assurance, ensuring that RMRDC laboratories continue to serve as national centers of excellence for scientific analysis and industrial innovation.
