Project Overview

Talc, a soft Magnesium silicate mineral, is widely used in cosmetics for its absorbent and smoothing properties and in pharmaceuticals, paints, ceramics and plastics. This project aims to collect, characterized and analyzed talc from some states across the country to determine the suitability for cosmetics application. The project will generate reliable data to guide investors and update the Council’s mineral database.
