DEVELOPMENT OF PROTOTYPE LEATHER GLAZING MACHINE

The Council, in collaboration with a University and Research Institute developed a prototype leather glazing machine to replace the use of bottles to impact gloss (luster).  To leather products this would enable local tanners to produce premium quality leather products at less production rate, thereby increasing investment and employment opportunities in the sector. The prototype machine is ready for commercialization.
