NEWS DETAILS: NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ODUDUWA STUDENTS HONOURS RMRDC BOSS

Following are the details of the news:

The Director-General, Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC), Prof. H. D. Ibrahim has been honored with a Merit Award and Certification of Credence by 
the National Association of Oduduwa Student in diaspora, as an ‘Ambassador of Good Leadership and Character Building’ on the 24th of January 2020. 

Presenting the Award, the President of NAOS Comrade Olatunji Dare noted that the honour is in recognition of the DG’s outstanding performance and giant stride in 
youth development and cultural empowerment of our dear country, Nigeria.

The President said that conferring the DG the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo Leadership Award as the ’Ambassador of Good Leadership and Character Building’  was in unanimous  agreement of the Association during 
their Senate meeting held on the 12th January 2019 at the British American University, Benin Republic. 

According to him ‘’The National Association of Oduduwa Students were compelled by the DG’s leadership insight and understanding of purpose that have culminated in the sustenance of 
good governance and provision of basic education for the ordinary Nigeria child’’.

The group extolled the achievements of the Council under Prof. Ibrahim Doko’s watch, and urged 
the DG to continue to work hard to towards the ultimate industrialization of the nation. 

The Director-General represented by the Deputy Director, Public Affairs Unit, Mr. Chukuwuma O. Ngaha, commended the students for the recognition given to the DG, noting that the honor is a demonstration of the fact that his efforts are recognized 
as impacting positively to the development of the nation’s industrial sector.

Mr. Ngaha further noted that the recognition is a call on the DG/CEO to do more in the Councils pursuit for industrial growth and development of the nation.
